Camera & Comp 01 : Framing the Ideal Shot

Learn the fundamentals of creating strong studio portraits through intentional composition, lighting, and camera technique. In this hands-on workshop, Charles McNeill, Jamaal Pegues, and Collyn Strother will teach you how to photograph both single subjects and small groups using professional studio equipment.

Using foundational principles like the Rule of Thirds, leading lines, balance, symmetry, framing, and negative space, along with technical skills including camera positioning, focal length, aperture, depth of field, lens selection, and studio lighting. Through live demonstrations and guided shooting stations, you'll apply these concepts while working with in a studio setting.
